Morgenshtern is going on a world tour with his new album.
For the first time, Morgenshtern will perform tracks from his latest album Alisher — the artist will take his new show to over 30 countries around the world. This will be a series of concerts as part of a sober world tour, as Alisher himself called it.
The EP was recorded during a difficult period in the artist's life — in the months leading up to his rehabilitation. The release includes just five tracks in which the musician candidly speaks about his battle with bipolar disorder and addiction, reflects on his forced isolation from family, and his attempts to start life anew. The title of the release seems to reveal its author — not the flamboyant stage persona, but the person who has been hiding behind it all these years.
Morgenshtern is one of the most popular and successful Russian-speaking artists. His uniqueness and boldness attract millions of fans, and every new song becomes a hit. Morgenshtern is constantly talked about, admired, hated — but his work and his persona leave no one indifferent.
An artist everyone is talking about. A showman like no other.
